Not your Mother

My idea of the Mew/Mewtwo lore. 
Mew is the mother of all Pokémon, the beginning of Pokémons' existence (it is unclear if Arceus or Mew came first, but one begot the other). Mew generously gave life to all the Pokémon and they are all her children. Except for one. 
Mewtwo is, in technicality, the son of man. He was not made from her love, and hence, lives in eternal suffering and torment. He seeks Mother Mew for guidance and understanding, but Mew cannot help rebuild something she didn't make. While she sees his suffering, she cannot love him as she loves her children. She wants to help him, but she cannot begin to fathom how. She refuses to remove him from existence since, again, she is not his to deal with. 
Mewtwo, of course, sees her as the closest kin he could possibly have, as he literally shares her DNA. Even as fragmented and bastardized as it was. He is heartbroken to know she does not see it the same way. Her DNA was not given freely to him, and hence, he is a reminder that the power of creation and life-giving was literally stolen from her for the selfish purposes of man.
